Check out the newest hunting organization in New Mexico.
The New Mexico Predator Callers Association became an official entity with our first meeting on 9-20-04. There were 13 people in attendance, which made up the charter membership for the newly formed organization. Seemed to me that everyone was very excited to see this club come into existence. Club officers (Pres, v-Pres, Secretary, treasurer) were nominated and voted in and other pressing matters were attended to. This is a very exciting time for our club as we begin this journey with much work ahead of us.
The name of the club indicates an association and that was the intent for the future. We can have other clubs throughout the state. There can be many chapters of the Association. It would be one BIG club if we could get it all together.
(a) Promote Predator calling as a sport.
(b) Conservation of wildlife through the taking of predators by sportsmen.
(c) To inform and educate the public on the importance of the natural balance of wildlife.

(e) To cooperate with farmers, ranchers and land owners to encourage and promote better relationships between hunters and land owners.
(f) To assist farmers, ranchers and land owners in control of predatory animals.
(g) To cooperate with the Department of Game & Fish in the control of predatory animals.
(h) To promote safety in the handling of firearms.
